Chief Operating Officer
David Romano is a native of Media, PA, having moved to Tampa in 2021. He possesses extensive management, supervisory, and customer service experience in both for profit and not for profit environments including personnel, fiscal, and operational support. He served for over 25 years with Prevention Plus of Burlington County, Inc., rising to the position of Director of Operations in which position he served for 20 years.
He returned to school in mid-life, earning his BA in Behavioral Science with a perfect academic record, graduating from Wilmington University. While at WU he served as President of Pi Gamma Mu, the International Honor Society in Social Sciences. David has a husband of 30 plus years with whom he shares 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. His children and their well-being are his passion and the source from whom he derives his desire to see the world become a better place where all people can rise to the heights of their abilities based on their character. David enjoys cooking, theatre, travel and other varied pursuits. He looks forward to his time of service to the Sanderlin Center where his talents, people skills and upbeat attitude will be challenged!
